it's hard to get a good one these days, esp in JB area as most of the brands are considered expensive for us here. unlike in KL - the market there is different.

totally opposite bro, try sourcing in singapore. I would say their price is very competitive

sim lim? better not... mostly source through internet/forum. But if u are looking for new product, i suggest u to buy in malaysia for their warranty

that's what i thought too - just installed focal access a1 comp set (brand new), bought and installed for RM1,100 in JB. OK or not the price?

but then again that's also something that i have to be very careful about... might go overboard if kena poison! currently have to recoup my losses from installing the focal access and dynamat which cost me RM1300! hehehe...

err... actually my setu is as listed in my sig... but that ride... is in S'wak unfortunately...

now in the process of sourcing for stuff for the ride over here as well... hopefully will be ready by year end...

bro, do u usually buy things from sgsoundsystem.com? i've been browsing there recently, many nice stuffs but not sure how convenient to trade..are they singaporeans willing to trade with ppl from overseas? if deal locally, it's easier as we could do bank transfer instantly..

taaron: depends on seller actually. I am lucky enough that some of the guys frequently visit jb, so i get my bro to deal with them. However i can say most of them are not so willing to ship to malaysia. There are a 1 or 2 seller i know of that is willing.

Hi sifu craziechild, thanks but I've been to famous audio last week n met the man himself. He even recommended to me sound magus, a china product amp that comes with sound processor (built in). What is your take on this?

Audited the amp, clean and powerful...
I guess you can hardly get any brand new quality amp that puts out 4x140rms with rm1600, furthermore, it comes with built-in processor^^

i was given a sony explode HU, 2 channel amp and 8'' sub woofer. can i just install them to my stock kelisa? need to add additional items or not?

also i read from the thread that AA & Famous are good but are they welling to install for me since i dont buy anything from them? roughly how much installation cost? cheers

There's no component bro. I think u need a comp set to make your set-up complete

AA can help to install at a reasonable price u can drop by and talk to Tan - nice jovial guy.

what you need would be power cables and fuses connections...

i am sure they would install for you.... but of course you would have to pay for the labour... so why not drive down there to have a chat with them?

i recommend for Famous (impian emas) but you gonna talk to the boss and tell him want you want and you gonna wait if he is tuning/busy. Of cos if you just want to install only then its simple but their charges = quality of their work.
