Bro whats the different btw Royal Purple HPS with and without API license? i saw one of the oil test shows that Royal Purple is far better than other brand. is it?

There is only 1 series of HPS, which is non-API license. It is more meant for drivers looking for performance. It has high level of zinc/phosphorus anti-wear additive, which is against environmental friendly API license.

API license series...err...is just API license series. It is formulated to fit the spec of API license.

I take those oil test advertisements as a pinch of salt now. All brands will publicize themselves as more superior than their competitors. Any of these top tier products from major manufacturers are more than good enough for most usage. Just my 2 cents.
