Toyota recommends 5W-30, and Amsoil recommends 5W-30 grade officially as well.The gain in FC by using 0W-20/5W-20 is very minimal (or even negligible). Personally i see more harm than good. In short, engineers spent hours of research to determine the best grade of engine oil for your car. There is no reason to go against it unless scientifically proven. Some other cars are tuned to use 0W-20/5W-20, but i afraid not for Vios. Just my 2 cents. Thanks. |
