How long it takes for the technician comes to my house to fix the line?

I upgraded from 1mb - 4MB BB deal. I called 100.

But no 1 contacted me after that. is it a must for the guy to come before I can use?> Thanks

that would be good. zzz.... since i dun hv much time to entertain the guy. that would be the best if he dun come.

I upgraded via 100. Yesterday went TM point ask again, they ask me call 100.

Call 100, *** gao the Product department, only they cakap they will open report.

Checked the order, found out that there will be some1 coming over on Fri. Call the technician number which stated in the order, ask him come on Thurs.

This morning he call me back, cakap he will come later. GOOD! haha

not sure true or not. Based on my understand and from what i saw in some threads over lyn, they said u call tm and cakap ur speed is 2.5 or 3 something instead of the 1 you mentioned.

Called it over and over again until they raise it to 5mbs.

This is my opinion only, please refer other people's view as well ya.

Since contarctor will be at the spot during installtion, they will do testing there. if the speed is like wat u mentioned, 3.5 - 3.8, guess they wont raise for u , instead of telling you it is normal. .. goodluck

Is there any possibilities that my ACCOUNT caused my line to be slow?

Here is the scenario : the technician SMS me telling me the speed is now 4MB. ( He went my home twice , first send modem , 2nd to check the speed
cause 24 hours of installation it is still 1MB speed)

So I check, the Physical cap is still 2048. My maximum download speed I got from speedtest.net was 1.80mbps. So , I replied the technician.

He replied me telling me he will send me a new Streamyx ID password and ask me change tomorrow. saying it is my account problem. da fuq

It may up to 1 week time after the submission. Depends one la tapi.
For my case, the technician came on the 3rd day after submission. But until today, which is almost 10th day after submission , I still unable to get 4MB speed due to some technical issues faced by them.

For me, I was given Innacomm 4 ports wireless modem. Not sure on the exact model .

How many ports you are currently using? i mean telephone port. if > 1, please use 1 and direct it to your modem ONLY and try. Not sure if it works. no harm trying

If unable to solve, please kindly call TM and check. ...

Aiks.. Maximum download speed 440kbps for my 4MB. Speedtest 3.5-3.6mbps. Anyway to increase? XD
