hi guys, wanna ask anyone experienced such thing b4 or not

usually when i download stuff from mediafire, i can get fullspeed with flashget, but recently(bout 2 days ago), the task will start with fullspeed, then slowly reduce to 10kbps, then will be quite constant around that.

At 1st i thought might be mediafire only, then i go download some other stuff which hosted on their own server, also facing the same thing.

But the weird part is, my xunlei download can go fullspeed.

I have been using T1.413 modulation instead of ADSL2+ to get lower latency connection but with exactly 4mbps speed. You guys should try this out.

Ur attenuation is low, tats a great thing.
You should ask him, how does he define 'poor'?

Hi guys..
I tried to apply 4MB package 2 times, first one is last year but they said not enough port..
Then applied again this year, last week..The TM staff said that my area couldnt support..

Here is my SNR and Attenuation :

Downstream :

SNR - 12.3
Att - 63.5

Upstream :

SNR - 18.0
Att : 31.5

Currently Im on 1Mb package..I want to know whether my house really couldnt support 4Mb..?

@Ivan Sac

Your downstream and upstream SNR is too low for 4Mbps, which is why they said they cannot support.. also your attenuation is too high for stable 4 Mbps

DS and US SNR should be at least 25 and and att should be less than 20...

Hi there Ivan,
By looking at your reading, I believe that your Line Attenuation value is over the recommended level.
A quick guide for ADSL SNR & ATT thing...

SNR Margin (AKA Signal to Noise Margin or Signal to Noise Ratio)
The higher is better

6dB or below is bad and will experience no synch or intermittent synch problems
7dB-10dB is fair but does not leave much room for variances in conditions
11dB-20dB is good with no synch problems
20dB-28dB is excellent
29dB or above is outstanding

Line Attenuation
The lower is better

20dB and below is outstanding
20dB-30dB is excellent
30dB-40dB is very good
40dB-50dB is good
50dB-60dB is poor and may experience connectivity issues
60dB or above is bad and will experience connectivity issues
