me and my brother plan to upgrade our streamyx 1mb to 4mb
how can i check if my area can support or not?

i heard that streamyx 4mb only only have at certain area..
can somebody explain me..

I'm using 1mbps plan (for few years) and I've heard unifi coming to my area next year, can i upgrade to 4mbps while waiting for unifi to come?

BB deal is RM140/month (phone rental inclusive?) but minimum subscription 12 months.
Normal is RM 268/month not include phone rental and normal fixed line rate. <- bloody expensive

Is there a way to upgrade without tying to the 12month subscription contract?

I wan to ask about the bill...will my current 1mb bill change to 4mb price..

i ask this because when i sucbribe to 1mb package,the installer ask me whether to up to 2mb package with 1mb price but have to paid certain amount of money around rm100.

will i do also for 4mb package?

i am upgraded my 1mbps to 4 last friday and till today my connection still the same not changed yet...i call 100 this morning and they need to configure my account today and my 4mbps will active after 24 hours ...is it true??

My experience was a technician came to my place and configure my speed to upgrade from 1Mb to 4Mb. He called TM to open the connection to get the desired speed (in my case he requested to open 5Mb). after he is done with IP configuration then I can immediately use. I do not need to contact TM. It was all done by the technician.

Maybe your situation could be a little bit different. I am not sure. Any other forumers could give more feedbacks?

For the download, is really OK...
but seems you have a problem with your upload speed...
Should get at least 0.38Mb/s or usually TM will give u about 0.41-0.47Mb/s

4MB Streamyx totally f**ked up after 8.00am.

Filesonic, fileserver etc. none can gave faster downloads.

< 20kbps while normally 200kbps.

Anybody got downgraded? It happen to me 2nd time this year. I checked my modem I am now capped at 2046.

yep happend to me before too.. the accuse was, upgrade bla bla bla and everything set to default bla bla bla

if i hadent notice , that mean i paying 4mb rate for a 2mb connection
