I'm guessing I'll get 5120Kbps downstream for my 4Mbps soon if the new tower lines are established. biggrin.gif

From a friend, he said that his condo is FiOS0ed for his Streamyx. Therefore he gotten 10240Kbps downstream for his 4Mbps.
Maybe his situation is an exception. VADSL+

Your downstream rate is 10080 kbps? Wow! More than double mine (only 4094 kbps)

after install the new modem, my installer told me only after 5 day i will getting my 4Mbps speed.and he asked me to turn off the modem on 4th day for about half an hour to let the system reset my speed.but since the new modem has low LAN speed,on 2nd day i change back to my old billion modem and Dlink wireless router to get back my LAN speed. and my internet speed just going to 3.4Mbps after i on the modem.now i need to figure how can i ask the TM to cap my speed a bit higher so i can get 4Mbps since my installer dont layan my request. sad.gif

Attainable rate is not realistic rate. The real rate is only 5Mbps.

that statement is the best lol. hmm. my installer never mention that about off the modem fo an hour. i`m just turn on the modem after off for almost 2 hour but the speed still same. my old modem doesnt support the adsl2+ modulation. i guess gonna call 100 and make report about my installer. mad.gif mad.gif
