Better than 115 I guess, I'm stuck with this IP range which is pretty bad routing to Australia (GW2/Tribes servers).
Does anyone here tried to call TM to change IP range? Is that possible?

That's nowhere near 4Mbps, that's 2Mbps (according to your network usage).

It's not possible to lower the latency to game server, it's all depends on the ISP routing.

Added on July 26, 2012, 11:56 amGuys, any idea how long does it take to streamyx cut internet access for not paying? It's currently midterm break here, I can't pay because I can't collect money from housemates. The bill just came out today.

Streamyx throttle P2P , you're lucky if your P2P download moves. Best way to overcome this is by using VPN or Torrent webUI, both are paid services.

Yes and cost more. Better upgrade to unifi if the service is already available around your vicinity.

Guys, my torrent downloader was working fine in hometown but when i moved bak to campus area and tried resuming the download, it fails to even move.

Hometown:1Mbps, Melaka:4Mbps

Isit because of the IP address thingy? I keep seeing it with 0 seeds and 0 leeches.

Well they did this throttling thing since early 2009 and of course people raged, seems like people are forgetting this now. Torrent have unreliable speed, you cant really compare with 1mb/4mb because it all depends on the seeder, if the seeder is a local, high chance you will get high speed, if you pause then continue tomorrow you might not get the speed you get yesterday.
To overcome this, you can either subscribe to unifi or use torrent webui , I don't use vpn for torrent because large amount of connection tends to lag the whole network, using webui however, is a http downloads, I can get max speed with 1 connection without leaving huge network performance drop. My place have fiber infra, so no high latency or packet loss even bandwidth is being utilized 100%.

The problem is that I'm getting 0kbps ALL the time. Its not even progressing. There has to be something relating to the different locations I'm in right?

No, it's part of the throttling, dns level blocking(basicly blocks the announcer URL) , try changing your dns server to google dns which is 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 .

That's it? Check your tracker status, whether its OK or there's an error like timed out or anything else. If peer returned 0 it means no seeder then.
