1. Shell is like that one. Very fast turn to black by reviews from all the users here.
2. If stop still got ti sound its not your iafm. Is it at the black box beside the battery?
3. Hmm. nvr heard of it before. Is the sound with air con on? after u slow down still got that sound?
4. I think what u mean is all of our car got. kinda airplane sound? proton's mini turbo

For this once its allowed lah..

1) yeah its normal.. Never use Shell.. The oil degrades very fast.. Next time for 10k service use Castrol Edge. Very good oil stability till the end of life.
2) tititi sound coming from where?
4) Its like a aeroplane taking off.. sounds like supercharger whirring up.. Its normal lah.. hehe.. Makes u feel like ur car got supercharger like that..

No is not a must...actually most people recommend no need .. waste of money
but i did install it.... not tat expensive anyway... even if it does take care of the engine a lil bit i am happy enuff..haha

Yea rm60 like that. I think it's for the air filter if I'm not mistaken. But Nvmla since he said it's only applied fr the 1st service only and subsequent service no need d

1) I m using shell helix ultra .....after 5k .. it is still pretty much the golden colour (abit yellow + brownish) . And actually i dont feel much (or any ) sluggishness compare to when the oil is new wor....

2) u mean.. "tik tik tik" sound? the sound of metal cooling down? ya.. i have that too.. i think most poeple have that especially after a long drive
3)sounds like something vibrating .. or some thing giving out the sound ... if the latter is very uncommon... else.. u can ask some sifus here how to diagnose where the vibration come from
4)sound like airplane sound? i got tat sound too sometimes .. but not at 4k rpm.. more to when i travel over 80 or 90kmph..haha

Added on April 23, 2011, 8:54 amno ....it is placed at ur oil filter... did they even explain to u...
it is said tat it helps magnatize the wall of the oil filter.. so it will trap those metal debris... thus protecting ur engine from more tear... (thats wat they claim laa )

Eh the problem for no.4 I also got haha. Low rpm or cruising also got de. Damn funny the noise like the engine jut got charged. Each time happen sure gf laugh de

Just did balancing and alignment nearby my house,, RM 50/=......is it the standard price? (Front and back alignment run )

My car already 1year now, Fed-up with ratling sound, starting from door joint at passenger side, now at back, bonnet, my side. dashboard.
1year all rattling appear. No enjoyable and smooth journey anymore , need to turn out my speaker so loud to distinguished the annoyed sound.

so guy's be prepare after 1year. all rattling sound appear

It's RM68 to be exact

Just added today, so far sound still got, but decrease a lot. As long as dun turn until maximum and reverse the car, then should be ok.


Last time turn a little bit while reverse also got sound, now less a lot.

service center at greenwood park not bad, even he told me is not really related because this sound is original cause by steering pump when max turning the steering which cause pressure on the pump and come out sound.

however, i ask him can i add this orifice valve ? he say sure, why not have a try since is free.

Some more is saturday. he do it for me also while other SC not offer warranty claims on saturday.
