QUOTE(denver @ Aug 10 2014, 07:58 PM) How's the acceleration and pickup? Any sluggishness? i feel when press the pedal no need so hard like before to pickup, before that i feel like the chinese word 'pull cow to trees' response is faster now . after remap i feel sound come from in front don't know where don't have already The ASX's engine is actually quite good, the problem (to me) is that in auto mode, i think the ECU is optimised for comfort. That's why when I drive in auto, it feels a bit sluggish. If I use manual mode, the car moves and accelerates much quicker, and dont feel sluggish much. I think the ECU switches to high gear too soon (presumably to provide easy and comfort drive), but the problem is that this contributes to the sluggish feeling. And when we press the pedal hard to gain more power, the ECU sometimes takes a bit of time to find the right (lower) gear, which is why I think we get this sometimes loud roaring sound when we try to accelerate suddenly. Can an ECU remap address all the problems above? |
