I tried to flash my phone just now...and then it says flash was aborted..
now i cant turn on my phone there symbol coming out-it looks like it doesnt recognice my phone..it stuck at the 'sony ericsson' symbol

What shud i do ?????????

You should use Flashtool 0.2.9.1 and flash the Global Generic 2.1.A.0.435 Firmware.

is this the right firmware? : Sony Ericsson X10i_2.1.A.435_GLOBAL-GGL GENERIC 1232-9897.ftf

as for flashtool iused : FlashTool_0.2.8.0_2

im downloading latest version now..i hope it works..feel like crying now

yes, place it in the firmware folder and you should be good to go. Don't plug your phone in first. Follow it's instructions.

Yeah..i already did all that.but same thing happen

did u make sure Wipe Data was ticked when Flashing?

yes i did! i follow everything

Take out your battery and press the on button. Put the battery back in. Leave it off. Start the flashing process again.

It will tell u to hold back button, then plug in USB. Don't release for about 20 seconds. Try that.

It didnt work..im so hopeless right now

@eugene, my fav settings for my dsp eq are always like a W pattern....

how about do a hard reset and return it to the factory setting...

about manual hard reset, turn off ur phone. take out the battery for about 1 minute. put it back. press left and right button at the same time. then press the power button to turn it on


or....

use pc suite (not pc companion)...there is a phone repair menu there, just follow the steps and u gonna back to the factory setting...and u can start all over again

as for the pc suite,my phone cant even connected to the pc anymore,thus the suite couldnt detect my phoneee

bro.. hav u try redownloading the generic rom or any others that is available... the one u hav might be corrupted...
it seems to hav problem when tryin to flash the system.sin files...

I cant make the stock live wallpaper to work. They're stuck at "loading live wallpaper". The files are downloaded from the ones he uploaded himself.

But all the other downloaded ones from market are working perfectly.

Strange, no?
