hah. RM 50 sure bootleg version liao, like what ShinAsuka said.

for people who are cheapskate yet want to play this kind of hobby.
*
dont u think your comment a little bit offending or immature?

If others find it value for money, there is nothing wrong of buying it.

E.g. if a couple going into the shop and the GF liking the nenedroid, and they actually bought one, cheapskate couple then?

and by adopting this hobby do not make u "high class" by all means.

Not picking a fight tho.

Cheers

FYI,

Im not nendoroid collector myself, im just sharing what i learn and its just way too obvious that saber lily or BRD nendoroid sell for RM49.

the shop is at lowyat, if its not because of the price, i doubt any amateur / new nendoroid collector will aware of it.

The owner / shopkeeper not hiding the fact that its HK ver tho, in fact when i ask him why so cheap, he answered its HK ver.\

Im in no means to say that the shop sell unauthentic stuff.

i think the guys above did not meant to offend u in any way, their just pointing out that at that price point it is most likely a bootleg.. which compromises on quality n the licensing costs i.e = rights to use the character in a product.

but of course the choice to buy is always urs..  smile.gif

nah, its not to me, which i'm aware of it, but the comment like, u are stupid because u buy xxx and not xxx, everyone have their opinion right?

some buy just because its cute, they dont even aware of the whole GSC money milking series vs bootleg

Im glad im not poison into nendoroid, else, sure im broke. Cant resist all the cute stuff....

he's referring to my post. smile.gif I'm always against boot-legged ones.

I respect the many companies like GSC for releasing such figurines and all, supporting boot-legged is no help to them.

Boot-legged copies are a nice way to join in the collector but as what I posted, it was to hint that it's not a cheap hobby and if you want to join - make sure you can afford them. Don't la go support boot-legged just cos it's value for $$$.
*
I agree with u. But my point is, alot ppl not aware of its value and cant comprehend whether its bootleg or not. So by simply calling those who buy Rm49 bootleg (which they not aware) as cheapskate is not appropriate.

bro, i told you already what type of people I'm referring to. smile.gif I'm not referring to just ANYONE ya know. Certainly not the ignorant people who buy one-off just cos it's cute because they're unaware of it.

I'm referring to people who are aware of it yet decided to go to boot-legged path just cos it's cheaper.
*
Cool cool. nendoroid so cute, lets not argue about them. I love u tongue.gif

Bootlegs are easy to spot as long as you do a little research before buying them.

Usually bad paintjobs, looking suspiciously shiny and of course, the price are good indicators.
Also, not every nendo has a bootlegged ver, usually just the very popular ones.
*
I try my best to look at them, quite nice also, and since i dont have a nendoroid myself, cant really compare.

The only reason im aware it might be bootleg is due to the price and the availability of popular nendoroid such as BRD, Miku, or Saber,

Come mon, u wont find those anymore, unless subsale.

A quick question:

What does sub-sale refer to exactly? When I read through the original post I figured it was just another way of saying BIB.
*
sub sale, in property terms is second hand.

Imbi Plaza - that place lagi low class, lagi dead - no? which part of Imbi plaza?
*
1 floor above nokia, at the very end unit.

As i mentioned above (my edit), there is no clear sign board to lead ppl to the shop.

although the shop itself with very good lighting (likely to be newly installed) but still something missing.

Unless they gonna change their business model to Online or wholesale, else if retail very hard. (Unless they really good price)
