QUOTE(jass80 @ Apr 17 2011, 12:56 PM) hmmm...so iam now positively its got to do sumthin with the WIFI. Android forumers from Germany also admitting the same cause of this SOD.. I mailed them complaint to them about this problem. yes, maybe its the setting or service thats related, maybe sumday we'll figure it out. Does Samsung (SME) knows about the "fatigue" of our SGA? anybody has send it over to Samsung? and what have they done and said? i am eager to know. didnt get any reply. |

QUOTE(Dannyl @ Apr 18 2011, 08:40 AM) Now RM99, cheap! even though the post that said changed wifi setting to never sleep still not works? http://www.m3shoppe.com/index.php?page=sho...emart&Itemid=26 If you turn of Data Packets, it will not use data. No solution for Ace users for the time being. Partial solution - turn off wifi. Use only when needed. damn susah la like that..coz i use whatsapp all the time |

QUOTE(Dannyl @ Apr 19 2011, 05:21 AM) S5830DXKB1 (alive88) - no SOD I think baseband + apps that using. S5830DXKB1 (Redundant) - has SOD! S5830DXKB1 (onecent) - no SOD S5830DXKB1 (pakhaighina) - has SOD! S5830DXKB1 (scoop7) - has SOD! S5830DXKB1 (xDragonZ) - has SOD! S5830DXKC1 (Dannyl) - has SOD! S5830DXKC1 (Redundant) - has SOD! S5830DXKC1 (zlong811) - has SOD! S5830DXKC1 (tracy_jad) - has SOD! S5830DXKC1 (pakhaighina) - has SOD! Conclusion: baseband does not determine SOD It's full when there's no charging sign in the battery icon and a notification sound with 100% in the notification area. Is your Ace with 1 back cover or 2 back covers? one of them using KB1 SOD facing SOD after updated JuiceDefender? is that possible that it inter-related? |

QUOTE(Dannyl @ Apr 19 2011, 08:38 AM) Incredible S also got shutdown issues. Maybe they're related? The users have pinpointed the cause to be some apps. Hmm...I wonder izzt juice defender prob..I uninstall it adi... Btw is the adv task killer works? I close all my apps, den click kill all apps, (supposed all apps killed) ... few mins later i go click it again, lol, it show *(num) apps killed... Like never end -.-http://forum.lowyat.net/topic/1792466/+2060 Maybe it's just apps. So... are we going to start posting apps listing? |

QUOTE(infinityjc @ Apr 23 2011, 01:21 PM) My SGA is 3 weeks old and experienced 3 times SOD do far. What I noticed the SOD happened could be due yea, is damn frustrated coz you dont know who called you, and the logs didnt show anything after you on it back. to Wifi which also claimed by other forumer. But I really wonder how could Wifi can cause the SOD or any other problem? It's very scary and frustrated when you found that the phone has OFF by itself without knowing it. Any solution so far to counter it? i been complaint by friends why didnt pick up their calls. >.< right now i turn off wifi most of the time, only on it when need it >.< to reduce the % of SOD >.< |
