guys,i know many of you all use task killer apps,but i read somewhere that for version 2.1 and above,task killer is unnecessary as it does more harm than good,is it true?
and 1 more thing bout task killer,they keep saying it will free up space,from my experience from android 2.1 to 2.2,it actually used up some space after killing,or it only happened to me?try this,check your internal memory,then simply kill 1 of your apps,and check the memory immediately,it actually goes lower,there was one time i killed more than 10 apps,and 5mb of internal memory was gone,i was left with 19.5mb only,couldn't receive sms anymore.can help to clarify this for me?really in a dilemma to use ATK or not

i rooted my phone with SOC 1.7 already. what you mean is i download that 2 apps and i dont need ATK anymore?my major concern with this phone is the battery life and internal memory space.thanks for the reply bro

has anyone face these problems before?if yes,what should i do?
problem 1:the sound for songs,videos or notification sound(not ringtones or sms) will turn into very soft(can only be heard by placing phone next to the ear) even if set it to the maximum,i can only set it back to normal after reboot the phone.
problem 2:happened recently only,and usually after playing songs,my phone wont charge anymore after plugging in the charger.even normal reboot also nothing happen,only way is to remove the battery,put it in and switch on,its not SOD by the way
this only happened recently with the same applications i have been using all the while before this,whats wrong??

which apps to update?u mean all?most of them i dont update if i dont find any major changes in the update,and summore every update will take up memory space.
