It is indeed a very good phone for it's price
I don't know if it's for all android phones, but as far as I know, almost all android-based phones can be rooted
( someone correct me if i got this wrong )
Depending on what kind of app you use.
Browsers can be around 2 ~ 5 mb ? The browser I use is around 2.5+ mb , just to give you some ideas
Games can really vary from <1 mb ~ 30 mb ?
As for the rest...They don't usually take up alot of space.
But if you install alot then it's a different story.
Oh and, SGA has relatively low internal memory, only around 130mb+ to spare when it's fresh ( someone verify this for me ? i forgot ). The rest is taken up by the OS and pre-installed apps.
The latest OS for this phone would be the leaked Gingerbread version 2.3.3 ( S5830XXKPE )
Official one would be S5830XXKC1. ( can be obtained from Samsung Kies ) This one is Froyo version 2.2.1.
Hope this helps !
Yes, all can be rooted (theoretically), the only setback is some manufacturers implement encrypted bootloader which makes rooting a bit more difficult (to create the method, but once it has been cracked, should be easier for end users). AFAIK, all Samsung android phone does not have encrypted boot loader. Unlike newer Motorola and HTC.I don't know if it's for all android phones, but as far as I know, almost all android-based phones can be rooted
