QUOTE(pyroboy1911 @ Apr 18 2011, 02:34 PM) Somehow when most readers see the topic title, we wont think of Local football, me included nice.. of course the sea game gold medal and AFF Final home leg were special in my heart too... another possible special match is a potential my inaugural World Cup Qualifying third round in Singapore this july. i would stop at nothing to attend that match....Of course there are some Man Utd games, like the Moscow final, and the Man Utd 3-2 Aston villa in the 0809 season. Macheda's goal, i couldnt scream any louder. Another one would be Manchester United 6-0 Newcastle United in 2007-2008, Ronaldo's first hattrick for United (before this he always score 1 or 2, never 3 in a game). very emotional game for me, coz everything in that game is perfect. Another match close to me was Terengganu 2-1 Perak for our inaugural and only 2001 Malaysia Cup title. The tune of Queen's " We Are The Champion" permanently lodged in my head for 3 days straight.. Probably the best Terengganu side i have seen. Legendary. This post has been edited by aressandro10: Apr 18 2011, 05:03 PM |

QUOTE(nanamiwashio @ Apr 18 2011, 05:05 PM) for other leagues, need to go back home and think foreign football ada jugak... my first football match ever is Juventus 1-3 Dortmund - Champions League Final 1997. ... practically bringging me into obsessive world of football..but as arresandro yang berhati nasionalis.. terus bagi idea kat aku abt local football 3-0 to indonesia at SNBJ was one of the best final ever for me (in local football qualities ofcourse + i'm part of the 90k.) *i still save the match at my HDisk, if i boring i will play back the game starting from the laser incident. (i think around 2k alone DIDNT have the chance to watch the game as the stadium was FULL PACK, they can only stand near pagar watching us shouting only. 1-2 to indonesia at bung karno. watched this at Nike Party. ofcourse urban ppl dont watch local football match but the way we(as i'm referring to the so called 'urban' ppl) celebrated the AFF win that time was f*cking memorable. starting from Khairul Fahmi saved the penalty - safee goal... OMMGGG!!just unbelievable. later go home watch all youtube abt the match till 2am. as for final sea games, shyte that day i got exam paper at 8pm.lucky not serious paper..i tgk sikit2 end up reach the exam hall 10 minutes late hehehe. local league : -Sabah vs KL final FA, (my dad drove way back from Malacca to stadium merdeka for this match altho we're not fan for either team)- me still in kindergarten this time -Sabah vs MBPJ - Final PM - sanbagamaran sent off really change the game -Sabah vs Selangor -Final PM @ stadium shah alam -ANY Selangor vs Kelantan for sure hehehehehe also Juventus 3-1 Real Madrid for 2003 Champions League semi final.. |

QUOTE(AKace @ Apr 19 2011, 04:12 PM) a must win game. to make things even worse, we are facing against the reigning champions, thailand. they took the lead in the 53th minute and it looks likely that we are going for an early exit again. in the 80th minute, the leftback, nasriq baharom became the unlikely scorer and provide a lifeline for us. deep in the stoppage time, fakri saarani netted the winning goal that we were craving for and rewrite the history in hindsight... that goal by fakri saarani reaaally2 means a lot... Rajagopal could have easily been dumped from his job due to the failure of qualifying to the second round of Sea games... :feeuwwhh: |
