secondrate , your Asus U41SV look exactly like mine U41JF! he he..

Wanna ask u if the area on the left of track point getting warm? Got USB 3.0?

Also wanna share that the right hinge holding the LCD making tick tack sound. Found out that the plastic on body open a bit when open the lid and close back when i close down the lid, hence the tick tack sound. Also I think sometimes the hard disk making clicking sound when idle.

Walau eh...wonder if i should send back for warranty? just owned it for a month.

Yeah absolutely hate the glossy part around the LCD. LCD is matte so no glare but the glossy part next to it are glaring and also dust magnet. Also the bottom of the DVD is kinda soft. So don't press too hard on the right side. As for keyboard, a bit flex, but i don't really mind that.

The warmness of the left side make my hand really uncomfortable. For me, the build quality of U41JF is kinda fragile and soft. U have to be gentle with this laptop. tongue.gif

Yup, mine is matte. I read in some forum that in certain country they can even choose between glossy or matte screen.

Not to mention that the U41SV feels more solid than the U36JC.

U41SV more solid than U36JC? I thought it was the opposite?

Actually I like U36JC more because the body is AL-MG and the metal is thicker. Too bad the GPU is G310M.

AlexLai, can to add me under U41JF. btw, i really find the heat on the left side of touchpad a bit too high. Tried to put a thin mousepad (G-Shark GS-MP101) but the mousepad also got warmed up. ha ha... anyone have any idea how to block the heat?
