why asus stopped rpoducing A42jp?any ideas?

i c..but currently what i see is all the new lappy using nvidia GPU instead of Ati..any new Ati with those sandy brdge lappy?

reinstall software might be the best solution here?

1st of all,why did u update ur bios for?any bug or problems in the previous bios?

2nd is, u should update ur bios in the bios itself using Flash provide by asus..not recommend to update bios via windwo 7..

hmmm...i tink u should flash back ur bios through the bios not in the window..

hey guys..again,i facing a problem related in game lagging-freezing screen..

it happen when i playin PES 2011..at start,all smooth..no lagging..same goes to replay screen..no lag at all..

at 1 time, suddenly my screen ( in PES ) freezed for about 1-3 seconds and after that come to normal again,but all the player moving fast just before it turns to a normal game speed..it jumped at random time..

what happen?is it related to my Hardware problem?RAM?VGA even processor?

yeah..exactly...the time when it freeze,my player even the ball stopped about bout 2 sec...what happen actually?

i pluged in the power chord already and also i already checked that maximum perfomance option before..
i used PES Edit patch and at tat time,i played normal exhibition game..

its actually not the game speed problem..when it freeze,it will return to normal back rite?sddnly it like a fast forward video just before it return to normal..

it happened due to patch probelm or hardware?

its A42jp wif ati 6570M 2GB..upgraded to the latest driver..

later i try different patch..i hope its patch problem not hardware..damn..prety scared weh...

yeah2...4GB RAM..

guys...last time i reported while playing PES11 freezed prblem..now,it was not only in game,it happened also when im playing songs or open any apps..its freeze at random time and got sound like hanging beep..."zeeekkkkkkk"

do i need to update my bios?or its not related to bios problem at all?

damn...y da heck when it try to update my bios,it din mentioned dat da update was succesfull?it auto shutdown..scare weh..

i checked oredi..my previous version bios is 210..after update bcome 301..

hehe..later will try whter the hang problem stil happen o not bcoz the new bios which is v301 stated its firmware updated and fix some HDDs cause POST hang at 0x0d..
if my problem solve later,for those A42jp or K42jp whu are stil using da default bios version,pls hupdate ur bios immediately..

what if i updating the same bios revision?wanna doble check again wheter its completed or flash failed..nothing bad happen?just scare that it will brick my lappy somehow..hohoho

lee,wanna ask..after updating bios,it should reboot or auto shutdown without noticing me whter the flash bios succes or failed?

bocz,updating desktop bios diff from lappy..it will tell us it suced and press any bton to reboot if using desktop...

i updating via ezflash in bios (pendrive)

yeah...it was fine since da day i upgraded it..and the bios version number is correct..

try check @ asus website the latest bios and what is fix..
lately i hving same problems when playing games..and after updated my bios, the problem gone..

usually the most top bios is the latest one.u can check the dates also..
or u can figure out by see the version number increasing from 2xx to 3xx..the bigger the number,the latest the bios is..
