Is it true that if I choose the 2GB notebook, the battery life is shorter and the laptop will heat up faster?? No performance difference as in I can still play the latest games especially Mass Effect 2 smoothly with the 1GB one? Thanks a lot.
BTW, do they give free gifts(headset, mouse, pendrive, cooling pad etc...) like Toshiba? I heard that are stock issues with this model. Any other laptops as good and cheap as this model? ASUS A53SV(specs look similar but the performance...)?? Thanks a lot. I might buy it in Gurney Plaza.

1. can i know how to gauge the speed of this laptop? i feel that my laptop is a bit slow.. it took about 30 minutes to download dictionary from internet (20MB).. so is it normal??

2. when i m using the webcam, the ppl which i chat to always stuck there(very slow).. i m using wifi.. but my sister who is using the same wifi and a laptop which has almost the same spec with mine din't face this problem, can i know y? n her laptop definitely faster than mine when loading a webpage and also when downloading something.. her laptop is acer 4741G. can i know wad is the reason??

i bought myself acer 4830tg, i5-2410 + gt540 2gb, but then i only play PES on the acer. so, not using my laptop much.. i think i wanna give it to my sis. as the laptop got optimus, so gt540 will only activate when playing games, which i seldom play games. so a bit rugi lah using this acer 4830tg.
