hmm.gif look like lenovo or hp i see or my eyes prob sweat.gif the keyboard button looks prominent
*
Prominent? The buttons looked the same as those in previous Asus....
I really hate the protrusion at the back lol, what good does it do apart from reducing the lid opening angle? sweat.gif
I think its starting to become a trend that the whole palm rest becomes colorized now, as shown in Sony Vaios, Lenovo Z470s, Dell Inspirons, and now this lol laugh.gif

hmm.gif so, which part you mean follow the dell style? laugh.gif if palm rest so, its follow sony vios, lenovo and dell lo laugh.gif ya, i hate the back prostrusion oso laugh.gif
*
The protrusion follows Dell's styling. If I'm not mistaken, Dell Vostros were the 1st to have those, followed by the new Inspirons and then the XPS hmm.gif
Seriously not nice lar.... makes me feel like the monitor will break apart if push too much? laugh.gif

UX series??? specs??

btw the design really really reminds me of macbook  shocking.gif

Haha, well, its aimed at rivalling the MBAs anyway laugh.gif I think it looks better than Macs wub.gif
Not much info on the specs, but they should be powered by Sandy Bridge ULV processors, i3, i5 and i7 nod.gif

The very fact that they squeezed an i7 inside it makes the MBA looks pretty stupid. rolleyes.gif

Haha, true also...
But the refreshed MBAs are coming soon too, also armed with Intel ULVs sweat.gif

"display ran on an Intel Core i5-2557M" hmm.gif better than i5-2410M
mmg cmya bro...mine one stated k32de. ahahaha... gigacom jual 2470... sweat.gif
*
i5-2557M is a ULV proccessor, don't think it'll better than the i5-2410M in terms of performance, but it'll surely in terms of lower power consumption nod.gif

nah... HD4650 still has plenty of performance...

plus the low temperature... still can use for a while... nod.gif

if only we can juz change the CPU as easily as desktops... we can use laptops for much longer period...
*
Well, judging from your 7x folding performance lol, I would say its still kicking strong haha laugh.gif
I think eventually we'll have easy-to-upgrade laptops, we'll never know~
But then when that time comes, it'll be hard to find a design which lasts laugh.gif

Hi A43SV users. I am planning to buy the i5 model.
1.Any overheating problems with the notebook?
2.How much is the laptop now?
3.Are you satisfied with the laptop?
4.Will it be suitable for uni life(not too bulky and easy to carry around)?
5. Where can I buy the laptop in PENANG?? There seems to be none in the House Of Notebooks.
Thanks.
*
1. No reports of overheating
2. There are 2 variants, one with 1GB Nvidia GT540m@RM2399, the other with 2GB@RM2599. There's basically no performance difference at all in between 1GB and 2GB, so might as well save the money to get something else smile.gif
4. Shouldn't be a problem, its not very heavy laugh.gif
5. Try looking for hikari85 in Garage Sales, she's based in Butterworth.

* You can consider the slightly better Asus N43Sl too nod.gif

So, how about the repairs? Will they repair the notebook in Penang and return it to us ASAP or will the ship it to another country for repairs?? Thanks again.
*
Asus service center is at 2nd floor, E gate. Laptops are repaired locally, and depending on part availability, repair duration may range from days to months nod.gif
