Nop, it doesn't look normal. Probably you can try uninstalling whatsapp, do a "battery pull" and reinstall the app again.

If you are only having such problem when accessing whatsapp, it is very likely to be an application bug.

Is your phone warrantied by Brightstar? If yes, then you need to go there.

apparently it does not happen to whatsapp only, even when i reply text messages...... same thing happens...... it does not happen everytime, but still, it does annoy me esp when i cant reply when i wanted to, i have gotta wait for like 30 secs or else the screen goes blackout, and when i press any key, even the button that lock/unlock, the whole phone is not responding, only the LED indicator still blinking......

i bought it via Digi........ =( cry.gif

Although you bought it from DiGi, it can be under warranty from Brightstar as they are the official distributor in Malaysia. However, there are cases where DiGi got their BlackBerry phones from local supplier e.g. PDAExpert.

You need to check from your warranty card (or sticker on the phone, near battery) on who is the warranty provider and get there. You can also go to DiGi (not retail shops but DiGi centres) and pass it to them but it will take longer to get your phone fixed because they are just a middle men.

yupz, just checked, it is indeed from Brightstar...... so what do i do with it right now? pls helpppppppp!!! sweat.gif sweat.gif sweat.gif

Their website - http://brightstarcorp.com.my/

You need to visit the nearest BlackBerry service centre. I think the address is also stated on the warranty card.

A-GPS is a feature for the satellite to detect your location faster. For this, your phone will access the internet.

As for the written direction thing, you will find an option to view on map.
*
Not sure if this is a stupid question to ask, but, I need to know if it could function like those normal GPS out there where they could tell us when to turn etc?
something like the gps speaks to us when we need to turn in 50m ahead? etc? smile.gif

Doesn't sound normal, unless you're a super heavy user.. Even with 3 mail accounts, whatsapp, gtalk, bbm, twitter, foursquare and facebook active, my old 9900 could last 8-10 hours with 3G.

so what should i do now? sad.gif

I'm not sure about sharing purchased apps across multiple phones, but besides RIM's app world, there are other app stores, e.g. Crackberry app store. Payment via paypal or credit card, I guess..

No, to your first question (as far as I know).

Latest official firmware, but not from our local telcos, is 7.0.0.439 = http://crackberry.com/official-os-700439-b...-bold-9900-wind

ok, u charged ur bb till 630AM? 100% capacity. then by 11AM, the battery life left 40%? right? or kindly correct me if im wrong.

maybe u should press the bb button for few seconds, then it will shows the program that ran. close or exit them, 1 at a time.
*
even so, isnt it abnormal for the batt to drain out that fast? sad.gif

I think the 9900's stock battery is 1230mah while the 9810 has a 1270mah batt.

I got my sun global batt from their shop at Bukit Jambul Complex in Penang.
*
hmmmm i am not at penang at the time being......
so, if i am continuing to use the current batt... is there any other way so that i dont charge it every 6 hours?
besides turning off my data that is... biggrin.gif
