u can see the pin of the device at the box... its along with the serial number . . IMEI number (i think).. but surely theres a pin of the device stated at the box.. i did the same.. i asked the tauke to bring out all out so i can pick the best pin..

loving my new 9900..changing device after using torch for almost a year..but the only flaw is..the batt drains pretty fast compared to my previous torch..could be because of the 1.2ghz processor...

and i notice that on os7 (i guess) we no longer can clear logs.. (Alt+L Alt+G Alt+L Alt+G).. is it because of since its running on 1.2ghz processor or they have disabled the option? any ideas? just wondering

Hi All 9900 Users.. Just like to share something interesting happen to my BB 9900..

nothing wired actually..but my 9900 batt seems to last longer as before.. and NO! i didnt update to any latest firmware or installed any 3rd party software..its still in STOCK factory mode..

what i just did is.. i discharge the batt (first time batt power up from the box till batt runs out of power)..and power it off..and charge it back again for 10hrs (while the phone is turned off)..and now last longer then before..

the day before that it drained pretty fast...but now it only takes out 50% of it...with maximum usage...for one day

reply up to 50-80 emails a day..whatsapp..BBM (non stop for 2-3hrs as the keyboard does not make u stop)..browsing..twitter..

i am not sure is it just me..but i am starting to love the phone so much..!!

yeap...its normal...bold 9900 is running a processor 1.2ghz on a 1200mah batt...but it tends tu run out of juice pretty fast..

i've setup my phone as following:

Backlight display : 10
Backlight timeout : 10 sec
Automatically Dim Backlight : Checked
LED Coverage Indicator : Unchecked

Sound : Medium (every alert set at 5+ 1 vibrate count)

and it does last longer around a day and a half .. it can last longer then before..

may be i dont play around with it that much.. just replying emails...BBM..and twitter only.. dont browse on my bold that much..

yeap..a day and a half..ive minimised the usage as low as possible..been monitoring it..it only last a day when i am always on the phone..(making / taking long phone calls .. bbm .. twiter ..)

waiting for a higher power pack (higher then 1200mah) to arrive our shores and ill might consider buying one..

u should see a blue line bar once u highlight the bottom bar (using your trackpad..) then click on it..

the icon might be hidden..

just press on any icon on the home screen... then try to check show all icons... as i found same issue before... but on my twitter app.. after u unhide it will be back on the screen...

9900 where got zoom..thats y its super thin.. if got zoom.. mesti tebal punya...

any micro usb can do.. i am using my Seagate HDD cable.. works fine..

about the lenght tak sure panjang or pendek makes any diffrence.. as long as theres current.. it will charge at the same rate..

just a hunch..

1.5days...totally average usage...

i just got the protective skin for the camera panel and the battery cover panel.. transparent.. same material like screen protector...

8bucks only... :happy:

theres a way to save batt... personalize the phone everything to low :

Options > Screen Display >

Screen Brightness : 10
Backlight Timeout : 10 sec
Automatically Dim: Checked

Sound and Settings :

Medium
Vibrate Count : 1
Volume : 5

Apps : dont use uber social use twitter for blackberry instead (if you are on twitter).. this app strangely drains batt pretty fast... if compared to other twitter clients..

for me my batt still last for 1.5 days full charge and medium usage..

the link provided for the 7.1 firmware seems like invalid URL..does anyone else has any other link?
