This is the US set. 3G/H+ .. While mine only shows 3G. Anyone?
*
If I'm not mistaken, this is due to us not having H+(4G=14.4Mbps) networks in Malaysia
Malaysia has only 3G(7.2Mbps) networks

Bold series has always and still is provided with a holster.
If there is no holster inc. in ur package, something is wrong.

SenQ must giv it 2 u.
U shud report them 2 the authorities if they sold it to you w/out a holster.

FYI guys, H+ is not HSDPA but actually HSPA+
HSDPA is actually 3.5G or 3G+
and if I'm not mistaken is not available in Malaysia.
We don't hav a HSPA+ network in Malaysia, just 3G currently

Added on September 9, 2011, 11:19 amUpdate: Only U Mobile has H+ capabilities, but in very limited areas.. So d only way u can get a H+ symbol is if u use U Mobile and go to Berjaya times Square... wink.gif

ip4 is the best smartphone on the planet. so cannot compare especially on battery life and camera.
but bb9900 does have a physical keyboard which is one of the best so far.
guess most of ur indon frens are using BBM hence ur need for a blackberry.

u can choose to keep ur ip4 as ur main phone and buy a curve 8520 as ur primary BBM device.

best place to purchase is authorized distributors.

Bro... I tink ur asking 4 a flaming wen u post stuff like this on a BB thread...
It's kinda like d guy who wore a MU jersey to d Liverpool game..

Btw, u can't jus say 4 a fact that iPorn d best smartphone on d market...
there are also many aspects that BB's r betta than a iPorn..

It may b your favourite, but u can't jus say it's d best as differnet ppl hav different needs and "BEST" is very subjective

Yes, that is a sensor which turns off the display when you bring the phone near to your ears (to avoid accidental press on the screen).

I see d dim flashin red light... But d proximity sensor is crap!
My face alwiz touches d speakerphone button & it goes on!

hi all. i just shifted 2 bb on sunday. got myself 9900 & still exploring stuffs. n00b question here:

i saw @ my sis' bb (old bold, 2 generation b4 9900 i think) & its pre-installed with WordToGo, PPT2Go, Excel2Go, PDF2Go etc.. where can i get this software? need 2 edit/access word/ppt/pdf a lot. ther's just too many in AppWorld & i dunno which 1 2 choose; i'd rather have d simple, STABLE & user-friendly (which i think RIM made it themself) like d ones in my sis' bb?

thanks!

I'm currently using .353
I don't see any battery life improvement..
No crashes or hangs so far though

Don't expect any significant improvement with battery life as the short batt life is due to the batt capacity and not the software

Loving my Bold9900.. No batt pulls yet (I've been using my BB since end Aug)

I've been using version .440 for about 1.5 days so far..
Don't really see any significant differences..

Anybody care to enlighten me on what they upgraded in this version?

Latest update on version .440 from my experience..

Earlier this evening I did a soft reset on my BB because it was lagging slightly; something I hadn't experienced before on my Bold9900.
After I soft reset my BB, it couldn't stop reseting.
It showed the load up screen till fully loaded then restart again repeatedly.

In the end I had to go home and revert back to version .353
So far it's running fine on .353

Previously I was using .353 for about 2 months w/out any problems.
Wonder if anyone encountered anything similar?
