well, what the thing that you want to scan..? maybe it is harmful...

anyway.. do you have blackberry desktop software ..? , connect your phone to the PC , open the blackberry desktop software , backup all the data , install new OS [update the OS] , after the updating process is done , then.. restore the data..

Just wonder what is your way to backup the 3rd party applications so that you can reload it everytime you reload the OS? I mean besides the BBSAK, is there any other way to backup?
*
BBSAK is the best ,

you also can use the Blackberry Desktop Software ,

just wanna ask, if i buy 2nd hand bberry from a forumer (claimed that won from lucky draw, so no receipt), is it easy to claim warranty?
*
yes, the important thing is, warranty card.. and you need to register your blackberry online[if it is brightstar set] @

http://www.brightstarcorp.com.my/24monthsblackberry/

if can register there, it is okay tongue.gif

and how if the guy i bought from not yet register the warranty and its more than 2 weeks already past the purchase date?

and its written there  bought after 15december2011. how about before that? i dont think this website is a good idea.
any other ways?
*
is the blackberry is brightstar set..?

if not registered online, you just applicable for 18 months warranty..

and dont worry, if it is original brightstar set.. you can just claim the warranty even without warranty card, they just need your phone, they can check the IMEI ID.. if it is original brightstar set , you can claim the warranty..

yup.. its a brightstar set..

the thing is i just bought it today.. so what a hassle if the phone cant use it at the very 1st day..

according to the seller the phone as good as new.. everything yes, but its just the card issue.. ive tried 2 cards dy.. 1 of it is Toshiba also..

actually it stated "media card is not presently inserted in the device..
*
I got that error too ,

i have tried every single this step before --> [by using Toshiba card]

1. take out sim card and only insert memory card then on ,

2. format the memory card to every format , NTFS,FAT16,FAT32 .. [FAT32 doesnt give me any error.. but still cannot accessed in the phone]

mine also happened. suddenly just realized that there is a dim red light blinking beside the LED indicator. isn't it?
i also check with the setting in option and LED coverage indicator was disable.

red blinking also can be --> battery low ,

want to know something..?

how can u send it from different platform... symbians and blackberry using different files.. , or at least..

the best way to transfer contacts is to send it via bluetooth... from N95 to Blackberry..

OR ..

if your backup contacts files is .vcf files.. just copy into blackberry device.. then.. go to file manager, save one by one..
