I agree.

What would you reckon would be a fair pricing?

Hey sony , your 9700 already sold is it ? How come your BBM face different already ?

BTW this phone has one of my very concerning issue that is battery life, heard very mixed review from crackberry and web , some say it can last 2 - 3 days for moderate use and 1 full day with heavy usage. hmm.gif Aint good , this is the main problem for me sad.gif

Bold 9000 is on OS5 while 9900 is on OS7.. I don't think so you can retrieve data from 2 different OS...

LOL , +1 , thats what i think too. The web review are simply too biased towards RIM. I prefer some end users review like fellow forummers real life usage.
My 9700 can last me for 2 days with moderate usage like

1. BBM for 3 hours ( on and off )
2. Light web browsing ( no video ) 2 hours
3. Twitter refresh every 2 hours
4. Facebook refresh every 2 hours
5. MSN for 3 hours ( on and off )
6. 3 emails accounts for BIS
7. 3 BBM Groups , active for around 3 hours ( on and off )
8. 50 to 80 SMS
9. Call for 2 hours ( on and off )
10. Less than 20 photo taken.
11. Bluetooth WiFi and 3G are always off.

Above is my daily usage and 9700 can last me for around 2 days ( based on OS 5 , i downgraded from OS 6 because i feel its really buggy + draining the battery a lot compared to OS5 )

So judging from my usage pattern , anyone here with 9900 can see if i can last for one full day ( from 9AM to 1AM ( 16 Hours )) ?

based on your usage pattern i don't think your 9900 will last 16hours unless you turned-off the 3G radio.

anyway here's how i used my 9900 yesterday and the battery lasted from 8am (100%) 'till 11PM (5%). (3G ON, WIFI ON Intermittently)

Definitely to get one, just unsure whether to use Celcom package or standalone.

Some branches away from KL do not have stock as at today, but some Celcom dealers already having them.

That's weird. I have no problem using blackberry protect to restore my data on 9900 from 9800. Give it a few try, if can't just restore it using desktop manager.. smile.gif

must use package otherwise who is going to give u BIS?
maybe Digi (coverage only in urban areas), or Maxis (spotty coverage, expensive charges).
Celcom is balanced with widest coverage.

Ini Wilayah Celcom! notworthy.gif

That was the first thing I did restoring data from BB Protect and it worked like wonders ... BB9800 to BB9900 in 5 minutes over 3G Network.
