Theoretically they are the same, but in reality they are not.
Imagine you need put in extra feature (backlit) consider extra power supply needed, more complicated circuit, definitely more problems will come into picture.

For the inconsistent clicky or spongy sound or whatever, yea, quite number of users feedback with that. The percentage you got a imperfect unit quality control BWU is about 20% (roughly estimate, based on previous posts from lot user)

then you have to pay a godlike price like RM 800?

usually high dpi, small mousepad. low dpi, big mousepad, vice versa.

actually you choose a mousepad based on your mouse sensor too

maybe the problem persists on improved edition..

why not? it is a mech keyboard. Put aside quality issues, it is actually a great board with a pretty design for some but sadly it doesn't appeal to me.
not to mention that it is one of the cheapest full mech keyboard out there.
