Hi. I am currently using Raze Mouse Lachesis. Had 1 time faulty before, did claim and got my new Lachesis way back few months ago. I am not really satisfy with this mouse to be frank, firstly it does have mouse click jumping cursor issue, which can be fixed by updating firmware. After that another issue comes in, which is sometimes the cursor cannot move vertically at all! Only horizontally for a short period. I have heard and read a lot of bad reviews in regard of this mouse so I had made up my mind and decide to buy another model in the next PC fair.

Any rich experienced users can suggest me what kind of mouse I should get, in terms of stability? I do not need high DPI and currently I am just stick with 1000Khz + 2000DPI setting. Any pros please suggest me a mouse, price range is about 200-300. smile.gif

I owned a Lachesis before but i sell it off due to the gripping is not that nice. But you can get used on it.
Just own Deathadder is that it.

Your reason of get it toss is different with mine and it's not gripping part that disappoints me. If you ask me to get used of the faulty issue I'd rather to buy a cheap mouse but functioning well mouse. sad.gif

I have Imperator, the mouse is too good.  I only able to use 2000-3000dpi, more than that i cannot control.  The Mouse pad is very very nice and durable, i have the pro pad.

Imperator. Thank you for your opinion. I'll take a deep look into it smile.gif

I don't think it doesn't. Laser mouse can work on any surface, just as far as I know. smile.gif

I found that Imperator has almost the price with Lychesis, wondering would there be the same issue happen as often as Lychesis sad.gif

And I have one more question guys. Why you guys can be so determine on the mouse pad? Does it make lots of difference? Currently I have a Razer mouse pad too but I don't know what model that is... I though a laser mouse can work on any surface? Appreciate any replies ^^

Yes, Rough Cloth VS Smooth Cloth VS Hard Mat VS Alu pad

all has difference in terms of dragging feel.

For me, Dragging on hard/alu mat is the easiest.

but using hard mat ur feet gonna worn out very fast if u use it intensively

A lot different, you can do an experience by yourself.
Try use mamba on destructor and a cheap soft mouse pad, immediately you can tell the different. It is sooo obvious.

Omg I am so short minded. sad.gif I will try to figure what the heck is my pad first, after that will seek for the advice from you guys again. Thanks man biggrin.gif

Err...
i wanna know why my razer lachesis with 5600 dpi will freeze some time when i use it do any one encounter this problem before?
*
This is quite common on Lachesis, I faced this with my previous Lachesis, after claimed warranty and got a new one, sometimes it still happened. The problem will getting serious and eventually the sensor will spoil...sad.gif

I just got my Arctosa and Vespula in last PC Fair, so happy ^^

The rough surface for hard mat is really nice and suitable for my game play. smile.gif
