my friend, just bought DA refresh, he went back all-it change 2 time, 1st time is the led not working, 2nd time is the scroll not even, tat it stuck at some point, i was like lolz.. should have go for logitech, my friend g500 is much more robust and the build is better.

Quality so bad already? Was thinking to jump back to Razer (Mamba 4G) from Roccat after my Kone failed me with the 'double click' issue. Maybe I should consider G700 already in this case...

Looking to try out Razer gaming mat, would like a soft mat.

Thinking of Goliathus Control, any opinions? Or any others I can consider as well?

never liked control, i think its just a gimmick.
speed mats were just regular mats until razer came along and invented the control and then called the regular one speed.
ppl used to control mouses just fine before control came along.
anyway, not like u got any other choice for cloth from razer apart from goliathus.

QUOTE(rave963 @ Aug 17 2011, 03:34 PM)
Control just have slightly more friction compared to speed imho.. Im using Goliathus Control XD
*
Been reading comparison between Speed and Control, but find a lot of contradicting comparison on different sources :S

Some were saying Control was more friction, some said Speed more friction?

for hard mats, i find control got less friction.
for soft mats, i never bothered with control.

But the thread was specifically referring to Goliathus, meaning soft mats...

of cos i dunno which thread u talking about tongue.gif
one thing about control mats is u have to try it, friction wise not much difference on the mouse.
friction on ur wrist, thats another story...some ppl have wrists that end up red color from the rough texture of the mat.
*
Okay, i don't want that. Am going for Speed edition then tongue.gif just hope the shop at my area has stock so I can grab it today biggrin.gif.

that would obviously depend on what stock the dealer still has cos the new one only released here less than 2 months ago.
*
Err, new ones only came 2 months ago? sad.gif yours is the new one right? Where did you got yours from?

Razer Goliathus Omega Speed Edition by CY Pixels, on Flickr

Somehow I feel the Sota has better tracking... just feel only. I need to bump up my DPI to suit for Goliathus speed edition.

Looked at the video, the only feature I was impressed is the touch pad with LCD display. But I guess that means for each new game the software has to be updated to include those features and menu.

If I have 8k to splurge on a gaming laptop, it is most probably an Alienware :S Its has more processing power than the Blade with the same price tag =/ But Blade does have the extra bling bling, sorta reminded me of the term "ricer" ._.

Sorry if I got the details wrong. Years back, the only gaming mouse I've heard of is Razer. Never noticed the rest before LOL. Nowadays got so much variety already.
