Better make it as tour to razer HQ. Accommodation, food and air ticket fully sponsor. Keke

Razer at Malaysia PC fair is very stingy one. Razer at Gamescom or CeBIT at Germany giving out darn good prizes. For example, Razer Orca (which was just released at that time), Razer BlackWidow keyboard and all sort of awesome goodies.  smile.gif Got hot Razer sexy babes too . . .  drool.gif

Can't blame them la. Our gaming industry is still kinder garden stage as compare to theirs.

Nvr knew about it. Went on 2nd day only. Tried testing the hydra demo unit. Staffs claims that the demo unit they hv is a lil buggy. Test it and yes was buggy. Kept switching guns in crisis 2 even if I didn't move my arms and hand.
*
They also letting go krait and salmosa cheap, but this one you need to ask the staff.
Next pc fair we should just appraoch the staffs to ask about this kind of clearance old stuffs.

i believe ur google skills need a lot of work.
i also believe that this question has been answered in the razer chimaera faq.

Ahah, found
Q: Do the Razer Chimaera headsets work on my PS3?
A: The Razer Chimaera headsets are built primarily for Xbox 360 ownage. While the audio signal of the PS3 can be picked up by the Razer Chimaera, the voice communication only works on the Xbox 360 or the PC.

But seriously google don't show much result on chimaera to pair with PS3, mostly they talk about Xbox360.

hmm nvr experieced botak b4. but seen alot user's mouse botak. they are all made with the same material anyway so eventually the orochi will hv the same problem if u are using claw grip after some time of usage. try modding it with the new black chrome orochi cover if it happens.

Black Chrome Cover
*
Razer mouse top surface material have a few types.
The chrome cover looks cool. But i think is another finger print magnet.

QUOTE(Jeffrey1987 @ Aug 9 2011, 03:01 PM)
+1. The rubberized surface will become some sort of "glossy" after only few weeks of usage. (I'm a palm gripper) That's  why I still prefer smooth or sand paper texture mouse surface.  biggrin.gif
*
That is why this time i get Orochi to avoid the rubber top.

To be frank, i also feel razer product quality is a bit on the low side. But i still use them for the technology and egornomic design.

I kena cheated by Ban Leong mad.gif mad.gif mad.gif
Bought An Orochi during the last PC fair from the Razer booth. Tonight only un box it
1st - When i try registered online, it prompt me "Serial Number is already exist", i believe i bought a used unit.
2nd - When i triple confirm with the staff there about the surface of the mouse is rubberised or not. They assure me it is not. It shall be a 'plastic' look hard finishes. I highlighted to them before i purchase it coz both diamondback and mamba that i use now have this 'botak' problem after short period of using. I'll not buy if it is a rubberised surface.

Anyone having these problem before?

Tomorrow gonna call them up, hopefully they give me a good reply.

QUOTE(FukaDa @ Aug 18 2011, 12:16 PM)
So is there any feedback from Ban Leong ?  Is quite bad tho purchasing a USED unit from pc fair , Wondering what excuse would they give this time , probably they'll say they mix-up the stock , and you've bad luck purchasing that unit.
*
When i call them today, they try to confort me saying that just bring the resit already can claim warranty without registered online.
But they start to kan cheong a bit when i complain i treat that as they sold a used unit to me. Then they ask for the serial no i try to key in. Then only i realise i key in the product no. sweat.gif

QUOTE(Everdying @ Aug 18 2011, 03:48 PM)
how sure are u its not a error over at razer site?
tho i wonder which staff told u the orochi is not rubberised...
*
Seems like you are right about the error at site. Coz i have miss treat the product code as serial no.. tongue.gif
The website should show "invalid serial no." instead of "Serial Number is already exist", then i will realise i key in the wrong key.

Which staff told me? The staff that went up to the chair to announce the lucky draw winner on day 2 and day 3.
Can clearly see him from 'Razer MaMalaysia Fan Club Facebook photos uploaded under Razer @ Pikom DLE 2011-Day 2 and Day 3 (Final Day) photo album.
Some more he dare to say he is using Orochi now. shakehead.gif

QUOTE(CJCJ99 @ Aug 18 2011, 06:08 PM)
That means you bought a 2nd hand item directly from the distributor? oh my god.

Luckily manage to register today. biggrin.gif

rclxms.gif glad to hear  you're such a lucky person, haha , my friends keyboard till now sending for RMA is still not back yet  rclxub.gif  as usual bro, i've experiance that in the retail shop before , that time i was buying the Razer pirahna, and those Sales person they just wanted sales, they don't really care what they gonna tell you tho, end up , the razer pirahna spoil within 2-3months .. sigh , really quite dissapointed with thier services , probably Razer only good in creating colourful items but not how to take care of thier customer , sigh... btw, anyone owns the new Razer Bungee ? is it good ? I don't see any difference tho , RM75 for a bloody Bungee was really quite costy , A standard normal one looks better than that only cost RM50 each  rclxub.gif  anyone using the bungee ? feedback anyone?
*
I still not happy, coz i just bought another rubberised surface mouse, which i clarify a few times of the material used with the staffs before i pay money. mad.gif

QUOTE(Everdying @ Aug 19 2011, 11:33 AM)
u can claim warranty without even registering online.
u can ask razer directly urself if u dont believe.
the registering part is maybe a way for them to track where their stuff goes and maybe see if anyone sending to other countries etc tongue.gif

that staff ah...lol...maybe he confuse with the newer orochi black chrome.
*
Yes, i know online registered is not a condition precedent on warranty.

About the staff, definitely he is aware of the chrome version. Coz i was asking for the chrome version 1st, which he replied still not available at that time.
Then he suggested me to take the current one. I triple confirm with him and request to open box checking before paying. He said the box is sealed and confirm by saying it is not rubberised.

send it to Play Interactive, the distro for Steelseries. Seems that they find Razer stuff very relevant to their interest tongue.gif

JK.

send it to Ban Leong, at Wisma Academy (SS14). Whether your warranty period ended or not, just send it to them to get it fixed.
You can google for the full address smile.gif
