changed to super pack 1 just now. monthly price will be rm 125 plus tax = rm 132.50
i ask the astro cs many times about the hd fees and she told me it is all included in the rm 125, means no rm 20 hd fees, she also told me i can record using an external hd.

before this my package is 2 mini+movies+sports+family is rm 105+hd fee rm 20 so total is rm 125 plus tax.

now the monthly fees is the same but i get 3 mini + movies + sports + mustika + abo tayangan hebat + recording using external hd and hd service.

what u guys think ? i also ask the astro cs when will this promotion expire and she told me there's no expiry date

when upgrading from normal byond set to byond pvr, do they need to reactivate the new sim card? could they be any late activation problem as well?

but all superpack packages include PVR as well. so i guess they will force subscribers to change to PVR decoder too?
*
just buy the WD My Passport AV to use your pvr function. But still need to fork out money to buy the HDD, which was what I did. But compare RM 150 to change PVR decoder, I think more better change the PVR decoder. I bought the HDD cause I can claim the money back from someone.

Did you experience any issue when you power on your B.yond PVR?
Astro installer also told me not to power off the B.yond PVR.

Anyone know what is the reason not to power off the B.yond PVR?

I sometimes unplug mine as well, when I turn the power back , it will boot about 2 minutes and then its back to normal service again.

anyone know why we need to wait up to 24 hrs for signal after switching to PVR . while waiting , should it be on standby or channel 101 (as that is what astro guy did)

thanks

waa.. already happening ? i'm afraid the byond activation issue few months back will happen again and this time it will also happen to byond upgrading to byond pvr because they gave new smartcard, have to reactivate again. hmm.gif hmm.gif hmm.gif

Well lets just wait for Saturday..Astro has listed Malaysia's game with Liverpool as LIVE..I had said in an earlier post that 24 hours before the Arsenal match, they listed the game as Delayed on Thursday..

So lets see how long the Liverpool game will be listed as LIVE..

i saw last night at the program guide it is listed as live but got the tbc besides it, i think its not to be confirmed but rather to be cancel.
