Hi guys , I am planning to set-up a home theatre connecting to my astro beyond.

Well, I had a LCD TV with HDMI input . Currently , I am plugging in my astro beyond to the LCD through HDMI cable. Basically , the connection is simple as it transmit the audio and video to the LCD.

For now , I am planning to buy a home theatre to connect to the Astro Beyond. So I was wondering, If I purchase a HDMI splitter 1*2 ,will it do the work ? So basically ,the connection would be , the Home Theatre connect to HDMI splitter , LCD TV connect to HDMI splitter , and connect it to the Astro Beyond ? Do I need to provide some setting as well ?
Kindly guide and shed some light guys !! Thanks for all the in put in advance. =)

p/s: Where can I get the HDMI Splitter for 1*2 ? Pricing anyone ? Thanks blush.gif smile.gif

Check your astro setup box.  If you can output audio via coaxial or optical that is probably going to be cheaper.  Not that Astro audio are that awesome.  Most of the time its just stereo and DD 5.1 for some (not all) HD Content.

Added on September 25, 2011, 10:02 amBy the way , I am encountering another issue . Basically , my astro's resolution of view had been changed . It been showing 4:3 instead of 16:9(full screen). I need to change the view every time I change channel, and that's troublesome. For your information , I am using astro beyond. Any solution guys ? Thanks in advance.
