I forgot to tell you that there is a bug concerning that. The TV on/off button is buggy and this has caused the button to redirect to terrestrial mode (free tv antenna), but there is a small chance that the button works as you wanted. It can't be solved via software upgrade, but maybe via firmware upgrade of the remote (if any)...

If you are using Normal decoder, you need
1. Upgrade to B.yond for Free Installation or Upgrade to B.yond PVR for RM150 Installation fee (if you return all old decoder, dish)
2. Call Astro CS to change the package to SuperPack after installation

Yes... RM150 installation fee for B.yond PVR. Installer would lay 1 more RG-6 cable + new decoder + 1 additional LNB.
Tied to 24 months contract.

Did you pay for installation to B.yond ? Currently this is FREE if you return all items (Dish, decoder, remote) in good order.

Well.... If you upgrade to SuperPack and don't need PVR decoder, then you pay nothing.
Upgrade to B.yond PVR has always been charged RM300 fee (now is promo RM150 fee until Sep 2011)

but all superpack packages include PVR as well. so i guess they will force subscribers to change to PVR decoder too?

just buy the WD My Passport AV to use your pvr function. But still need to fork out money to buy the HDD, which was what I did. But compare RM 150 to change PVR decoder, I think more better change the PVR decoder. I bought the HDD cause I can claim the money back from someone.

Can you check whether your smartcard is authorised to use the recording function for normal byond set?

Hi everyone... i'm new here. Just subscribe byond last january with HD services, and i upgrade to SP1 last week with PVR decoder. Installer came yesterday (4 days after my request). After an hour he finished setup everythin and leave (i pay rm150).

Half and hour later i can watch all the channels BUT i can't record or scheduled my programme. I call CS and she ask me switch off and etc..etc.. finally she tell me will send someone to check it out. This morning the technician call and will bring NEW decoder tomorrow..... yeay!!!! hope no problem anymore...
