Can we use other HDD besides the WD AV HDD ?

FAT hope la... govt is super poor now.. will suck any $$$ wherever and whenever

of course..because u still have the normal Byond decoder..but if the astro installer already come and installed the PVR decoder and still cannot use the functions, call them to activate it..

and Im sure u have to pay RM300 rite for the new PVRdecoder..?

I swapped my astro max box for it for free. They called me up asking me if I wanted to do it. The only thing is now I have two HD STBs in the house (not that its a bad thing)!

But yes, I think it is MYR300 for the box if you're swapping a normal (non-max) box for it.

Those of you thinking of upgrading to the PVR pls check the price. I was informed there is a new promo RM150 instead of RM300. For upgrading from normal byond box only.

ya i using normail Byond decorder so yestaday i call upgrade new package i take super pack 2 and add hebat so 3 mini pack news,fun,Learning so they said PVR inlude
my old package is news,fun,Variety not sport so today moring can't be watch ch 710 and 711 like that so ch 811 and 812 can be watch sport my old package dont have sports so 811 and 812 cannot watch lol
today they change upgrade my package they told me PVR is inlude
i press pause and record say PVR functions not availble

that mean they will give PVR Decorder ????

yes..for PVR..uneed PVR decoder..

just call astro CS...astro pvr is on promotion for rm150 sampai september...gonna upgrade soon

Thats why its called PVR not normal Byond..u need a Byond PVR decoder..they will swap with ur current decoder..but u must pay RM150 to the installer (promotion price..normal is RM300)

Astro installer should come and install for u..call Astro and ask for the details of ur installer..

How fast the pvr will be installed once u order?

if buying RM200 external USB 320GB harddrive for normal byond to get pvr function, it is more bang for the buck to upgrade to byond PVR for promotional price of RM150, save RM50 + the bonus of getting twin tunner + more stable firmware + 500G harddrive
