AV lawyers are wasting thier time while AV is wasting its money,this suit wld fail and wl be decided in astro's favour.Its hard to find justice in our courts
 Bermula 1 Jun ini, stesen TV berkonsepkan Islam, TV AlHijrah akan bersiaran di Asdtro saluran 114, demikian diumumkan oleh Menteri di Jabatan Perdana Menteri, Datuk Seri Jamil Khir Baharom. Beliau berkata tujuan kemasukan stesen TV berkenaan ke dalam Astro adalah bagi memberi peluang kepada lebih ramai penonton di negara ini untuk menikmati siaran stesen TV berkenaan. "Siaran TV AlHijrah (sebelum ini) begitu terhad. Kita menerima permintaan begitu banyak daripada masyarakat supaya mereka dapat menonton TV AlHijrah. Jadi ini kita lakukan (memasukkan siaran TV AlHijrah ke dalam Astro)," katanya kepada pemberita pada sidang media di Pusat Penyiaran Digital TV AlHijrah, Kompleks Pusat Islam, di Kuala Lumpur, hari ini. Turut hadir ialah Ketua Pegawai Eksekutif TV AlHijrah, Bukhari Che Muda. Jamil Khir berkata selaras dengan kemasukan stesen TV berkenaan ke dalam Astro, waktu siaran turut ditingkatkan daripada 72 jam seminggu kepada 100 jam seminggu. "Hari Isnin sehingga Khamis, TV ini (AlHijrah) akan bersiaran seperti biasa dari pukul 12 tengah hari sehingga 12 tengah malam manakala pada hari Jumaat, Sabtu dan Ahad akan bersiaran dari pukul 7 pagi sehingga 12 tengah malam," katanya sambil menjelaskan pihakya akan memanjangkan waktu siaran sehingga 24 jam sehari sekiranya mendapat permintaan tinggi daripada penonton. Ditanya mengenai persaingan yang bakal diterima apabila stesen TV berkenaan apabila memasuki Astro kelak, Jamil Khir berkata, pihaknya hanya ingin memenuhi selera penonton di negara ini yang sentiasa mahukan kelainan dari segi kandungan siaran. "Kita akui persaingan memang ada. Sebab itu kita mempelbagaikan program seperti (rancangan realiti TV) Solehah yang antara lain bertujuan untuk melahirkan lebih ramai pendakwah wanita di negara ini," katanya sambil menjelaskan rancangan-rancangan yang bertemakan wajah-wajah Islam seperti Madrasah AlHijrah, Refleksi dan Khidmat Syariah akan turut disiarkan pada 1 Jun nanti. Ditanya adakah stesen TV berkenaan akan memperluaskan siarannya bagi negeri-negeri yang tidak mendapat liputan, Jamil Khir berkata pihaknya sedang mengadakan perbincangan dengan kerajaan negeri dan juga pihak berwajib seperti Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia (SKMM) bagi membolehkan lebih banyak pemancar dipasang di negeri-negeri berkenaan. "Kita sedang mempercepatkan proses (pemasangan pemancar). Apa yang menjadi halangan kita ialah tentang spektrum atau saluran yang begitu terhad di negeri-negeri yang memerlukan . With more then 10 channels for Astro First alone and AOD of course they need more space to make money NOT to add more HD fare and variety!
 More then 50% subscriber base is malay simply bcos they hv to subscribe to astro just to recive the local terrestrial channels and not that they are rich ! This is sad indeed! The rakyat are still deprived of clear free TV !  Astro shld stop putting govt free channels into its pack and charge RM37.95 it shld give those channels separetly FOC for those who just want them only and cannot afford the family pack or for those whose services hv been cut,show some social obligations please! The govt is busy pulling out subsidies got no time for anything else, and astro is already contibuting 6% tax through its customer base!

The chances of more Movie content is slim,I did ask HBO why they dont hv like singapore where they hv HBO hits, Signature, and many more they said it depended on our provider ! Looks like our side is NOT interested in Variety !

UNIFI has to make it now or never,it is TOOOOOOOOOO slow .The channel base is good ,has variety and expanding.This is a rabbit tortoise situation,the rabbit seems to be taking a comfortable nap, TM pls start serious work.

So many channels on Test,I guess thier In House channels may all go HD soon cos there are too many promotions to switch to Beyond!
