Hey guys,I just installed Astro Beyond..but now the smartcard it doesn't work anymore at my room..How to sub it ?

*Previously ,I just bring the smart card into my room then it can watch already after I change it to Astro Beyond can't work anymore..*

Byond smartcard can only work with Byond Decoder it came with & vice versa!
Can read abt all that in Astro FAQs or if yu had asked Installer @ time of installation.

its tied to the decoder, you can't use your smart card at another decoder!

for byond, you now need to bring your card + decoder into your room

Media Prima installed two EditShare systems four years ago in its web/online department, Alt Media. OMG..haizz,how about the wire? lol,old decoder wire same with the astro beyond decoder wire ?I thought different.

Guys Im just curious if anyone kena lightning strike through their astro decoder before? Last Sunday there was a very fierce lightning in my area and when it strike, my TV and astro decoder went blank for awhile. The lightning killed my modem & router, lucky not my TV.

can use the same one no problem..just bring the decoder and smartcard to ur room..

yes..my Atdro twice kena lightning..just gone blank and cannot turn on..TV once kene..the second time only Astro..

My advice to all Malaysians..when ever there is lightning and thunderstorms, if possible, unplug all electrical devices unless ur home is protected from lightning strikes in any way of form..just switching off wont be enough..and even more so for Astro coz there have been cases when even when the decoder has been unplugged, lighning can still cause damage..very dangerous if ur not at home if that happens..

What is the price to install the BYond?

For now , I am planning to buy a home theatre to connect to the Astro Beyond. So I was wondering, If I purchase a HDMI splitter 1*2 ,will it do the work ? So basically ,the connection would be , the Home Theatre connect to HDMI splitter , LCD TV connect to HDMI splitter , and connect it to the Astro Beyond ? Do I need to provide some setting as well ?

Suddenly my Astro Byond not working. Tried cold boot. Media Player works fine so it's not the TV. What's the phone number to call? Couldn't find it on Astro website.

hi guys, just got my astro b.yond installed today.still try to get used to it.quite satisfied , except the favourite channel setting.why they limit the channel? i hate to browse channel 1 by 1.

hey did u subscribe super pack or just choose the package u wan?wondering if new subscriber still gt the old decoder?i dun wan beyond decoder as i just using normal crt tv
