Considering to subscribe Beyond... I purchased Toshiba Regza 32PB10 LCD TV... Is it able to view HD and 3D channel... Is it really view good...? Spec details as below:-

C Band or KU band?

c band? haha. its not for astro customer but for other pay tv providers to rent their beam.

no bro. astro is using ku band for the customer. c band is for transmitting the feed to other pay tv providers. if astro using c band to beam hd to us, the dish should be larger. 65 cm dish is not enough.

Sony Procures Astro Contract for HD Equipment

Asia Pacific, Malaysia – Sony has just announced that it has been awarded a multimillion dollar contract to provide Astro with HD broadcast equipment in Malaysia.

As part of this agreement, Sony will be providing 47 sets of HDC-1550 and three sets of HDC-3300R HD cameras, as well as four MVS-7000X and one MVS-6000 HD switchers to Astro. Sony will be working with the broadcast giant to provide maintenance support for an additional four years following the warranty period.

With this deal, Astro will now upgrade its broadcast studios and OB Vans, which will result in more local programs and sports coverage offerings through its HD channels.

“Sony is pleased to be selected as Astro’s equipment and solutions partner in their upgrade to HD. It is a milestone transition for their business and it is absolutely critical to select the right partner during this transition process. We will ensure that their experience and partnership with Sony will be based on certainty and will be a seamless one,” said Chris Grey, Head of Broadcast and Content Creation Solutions, Professional Solutions Company (PSAP), Sony Electronics Asia Pacific.

I've been billed RM164.30 which is RM155 (subs for SP3) + RM9.30 (6% GST)...which I was told by Astro CS @time of upgrade.

i saw astro supersports sample 3 channel sd and hd and 3D too
but 3D IS 830 BUT SAY channel 830 is not available

why ???? they disable ???
i on Super pack 2 831 still can be watch no problem
