If we get the B.yond PVR decoder at RM150 (current promotion rate), what is the warranty period ?
What happen if the B.yond PVR decoder spoils after 3 years ?

then why are we paying the RM150 ? Is that RM150 for installer fee ?

After reading more, the RM150 is for Installation Fee of B.yond PVR decoder.. basically covers the 2 LNB and 2 x 20m RG-6 Coaxial cable.

@beebee: I think you dont need to pay anything for upgrade to SuperPack from old decoder (non B.yond type). Pay additional RM150 as installation fee if you get the B.yond PVR

When you call Astro CS, inform them during that phone call you need two (2) LNB for your ODU (aka dish)

If you are using Normal decoder, you need
1. Upgrade to B.yond for Free Installation or Upgrade to B.yond PVR for RM150 Installation fee (if you return all old decoder, dish)
2. Call Astro CS to change the package to SuperPack after installation

Yes... RM150 installation fee for B.yond PVR. Installer would lay 1 more RG-6 cable + new decoder + 1 additional LNB.
Tied to 24 months contract.

Did you pay for installation to B.yond ? Currently this is FREE if you return all items (Dish, decoder, remote) in good order.

Well.... If you upgrade to SuperPack and don't need PVR decoder, then you pay nothing.
Upgrade to B.yond PVR has always been charged RM300 fee (now is promo RM150 fee until Sep 2011)

You won't be able to make copies as it's digitally locked to your decoder and smartcard.
