anyone know where to get the WD passport for beyond PVR? All shops in Lowyat dont hv stock anymore. they said, it will take at least one month. 1 shop even mention, Astro took their stocks so they can sell by themselves.

Agreed. Last year asstro said they got problem to sync metadata for subtitle on HD channel.
I can't accept that stupid excuse because we'll already pay for premium price for it.

I think you are right but my installer came just now and insist it is my cable causing signal strength weak. But it's been fine until today.

Subscribe to Astro Byond PVR awhile ago.. quite surprised they told me that only offer superpack 1,2 & 3. The rest of the packages 1-10 is only applicable for 'future'. Furthermore the additional mini package for RM 5 is only available next month, after they 'officially' announce. I took sp 3 & installation is rm 200 (for new user)

so if the quality is the same, why there are cheap and expensive cables?

Errr... For Ur thinking 1, meaning use 1 card in 2 different decoder? Yea, for the older version of decoder( without HD one), of course u can(I always do that)  .... But for the byond, i've no idea.... Never tried b4....

For Ur thinking 2, u will need more fund .... Few years bak, there was promotion that allows u to get 2nd smart card with 50% off..... But I heard that promotion is no longer available.....

Any idea why the 50% off for 2nd decoder no longer available?

i just change astro byond...
can i know what brand external hard disk can use for astro byond PVR?
coz i use my seagate FREEAGENT GO 320g(just format, no data inside), n then display cant use...
so is what problem?

After 15mins wait, managed to talk the CS that helped me register. He's so busy (like he's working alone there  ) and keep telling me he call back 5 mins later. After 15 mins, he really call back! BUT.. he told me he just helped me register & book installer yesterday?!! and currently I'm on the queue.. guarantee Raya at home I watch TV1 TV2 edi.. kanasai betul..

guys,i have a byond decoder but not subscibed to byond services and i want to connect my decoder to my tv using hdmi cables but no signal.how come?
anyway,is there any differences in picture quality if im using the rca cable if compared to hdmi cables even if im not subscribed to byond services?
