i dunno why she(seller) said i got discount..i paid 1590 + 200(prepayment)..

of coz apple will not grant u the warranty claim if the phone is jb..thats why u need to restore the ios before u claim the warranty...

For my case, mine was not able to Call out, only can receive call, sms and online. I sent for warranty claim and got a one to one replacement on Sunday.

Yesterday, I noticed my previous set was actually showing another sign of "inferior quality", which I thought it was normal previously, i.e. Battery drain.

My current set is perfect (Touch wood). Everything works fine, and even the battery lasts longer than the first set. (4.3.1 firmware)

I guess you need to send for 1 to 1 replacement.

Any useful tips if i were to go and queue at the maxis center to buy a white iPhone outright without contract tomorrow?

What time does the maxis center opens anyway? Maxis website doesnt seem that helpful.

only 1 very3 useful tips that i can give to u...call them first..find ur nearest maxis center or MEP shops HERE and call them..sometimes u have to wait for 2 or three days for them to reserve the phone for u...

I noticed one thing related to the proximity sensor issue thingy,since i'm working in a mac centre,i realized that ip4(white)does causes error in sensing whenever a CRYSTAL clear screen protector is applied on it,and when i removed it and swap it with an ANTI-MATTE screen protector..everything seems to be ok...just my 2 cents..

no wonder mine not working,but i just made a little hole at the sensor,problem solved

i just cover it with SGP full body screen protector so it wont get scratch,the main reason i like iphone4 is becoz of its beautiful design,so no ugly bulky cover for mine

I couldn't agree more. I think like you too, until my beautiful design iPhone 4 drop on the floor once and got dented. Full body screen protector can only protect it from scratches, not drops. If you can 100% confirm you won't drop your phone..... shit happens u know?
