i voted iPhone4, cos its easier to bring anywhere. iPad still requires a bag / sling / cover... not so convenient.

iPhone for its portability, also its ability to pretty much do everything an iPad can.

The only reason for me to get an iPad is to read eBooks and piano pieces. btw, I voted for iPhone

iPad, coz I prefer a bigger screen for surfing, watching movies, games...etc. It's not that heavy or bulky, so I don't see why it's not mobility as even people nowadays even carrying their 2-4Kg of laptop around. iPhone are capable of most what an iPad can do but with the combining usage as a phone and surfing, games, movies..it drains the battery very fast.

Ipad...Wifi to be specific...Big... Convenient...easy on the eyes...no need to squint eyes...summore im a huge type of person...my fingers are huge...

I teether my 3G from my phone...So whenever i have a call...i use my phone, if i want to surf when im sitting down on the go i use ipad...if im want to urgently look for info on the web i use my phone...

If the 3G sux and cant properly connect, and there is lots of wifi network around me, i use my N900 to "Find" the wifi...

Combination of Ipad + Nokia N900...Flawless...for me... ^.^"

iPhone alternatives are aplenty and quite competent depend on users while iPad alternatives are inferior by today standard.

So, I would pick iPad over iPhone anytime.

I like my 1st Gen. iPad but I'd get a 2nd Gen if I could. Since the upgrades weren't too serious I'll hold out for the iPad 3.
As for iPhone 4: I don't have much of a use for an iPhone right now and phone plans for them in the U.S. are around RM300 a month. Too expensive for me...
