Guys,

Earlier this evening I got this call, actually from a mobile number, but i didn't notice it first, just answer the phone. The guy said that he is from the bank that i am using, and is promoting like a bonus card or something. Then, he ask me details about my cc, first, he ask me about my card validity, I, without no suspicion at all just answer it, then, he ask me about my 16 digit card number, and suddenly i come back to realize, how come the bank want the number from me, they are supposed to have it right?. Then i just said that i had some work to do, and the guy said that he will call me again later. So, i didn't give the card number, and also the 3 digit number behind, he just get my card validity only. He also know my name...How come this happened?..hurmmm..By the way, what do you guys think?. Am I in danger of being conned or something?.

Thanks in advanced guys.... hmm.gif

Shouldn't be a problem since he did not manage to get your credit card number as well as the CVV. Anyway, you may want to call your card issuer bank and talk to their customer service officer, see what they suggest you to do.

By the way, if anyone from Citibank calls. They usually will just confirm you the last 4-digit of your credit card number and they are the one to read the 4-digit out and all you need to do is to reply correct or not.

Yeah, I've called the customer service guy, and he said that it is ok since I only give the card validity, and not the cc number and CVV. sweat.gif ...Thanks for the advice guys...hehe.. Must be more careful from now onwards..
