I've also received some promotions from Q-Medic insurance claiming to have connection with maybank visa card.. and to my stupidity as well, i somehow disclose my IC, my address and my card no etc.. somehow after a while i came to my senses and called maybank..

according to maybank there r no direct insurance company apart from etiqa with connection to maybank but the maybank person said there r legitimate private company offering insurance plans to maybank card holders. and i glad enough that the company i was contacted by was actually a ligitimate one..

however he reminded that although this may be a ligitimate one, there r lots of other 'dark' company offering fake products hence maybank discourage any of its customer to disclose any private information via phone.

so a reminder to everyone and to ME as well..
