Guys, I just got a phone call from 016-2627544. Let me share with you what I told my friends,

I am not sure whether it's a credit card syndicate or not, but it surely stinks!

First and foremost, I too been receiving this sort of phone calls since last year, but that fella (a lady called Shila from Service Card Center KL - so she said) din manage to get me on the line almost everytime (whoever knows me, you know why.. haha)

So today she managed to contact me again, saying I will get some sort like a VIP card. This card is free for all cardholders from any bank and any type of card (Visa/Mastercard). The funny things are..

1. She called from a mobile number 016-2627544. When I query, she quickly replied that it is a registered company phone number and registered under Telekom. Yeah........right. (Anda pasti?) I've tried to google such company, and ... I couldn't find any information on it. Should you think it's a valid number, please correct me.

2. To get this VIP card, one must verify her/his particular. But she asked for my card expiry date! I immediately start blasting her questions until she hung up.

I feel like checking the validity of the phone number, but I've nowhere to refer to. Any idea?

Do becareful on giving out your card information, especially those information written on your card. It will be hard when those information being ripped off from you.

I've also been receiving a call from a CDMA number, 011xxxx something, I lost the number somewhere, claiming I need to update my death nominee list. As far as I remember I don't even enroll for such insurance. Since death nominee list usually are the names of your loved ones, so becareful ya people...

The same person called me again. But this using different phone number - 03-2332 6676. She claimed to be from Link Card, and when asked to spell out her company's name - she gave me a Link Club Card. After hearing the same VIP thing all over again, I rejected her offer and did a quick googling on such company.


I present you this website. Looks like a scam site too.. Anyway, she called me from a 03-23326676 while the official number for the company is 03-92003344. Not sure if this company is even a valid company (somemore, if it's even related to that lady). The lady very persistent one.. after so many times reject, also don't get my message huh?
