watch 2 games during lunch time. Nvr knew Sweden got such a passion and huge crowd. The audience response and cheers to every good move. It is like the old days of BW where korean girls will simply orgasm when a storm casted or a tank blast.

SC2 growing outside of Korea certainly

Sweden gaming community really evolving to another level and somewhat much closer to Korea already.

White-Ra really unlucky to lose at the final, but to be honest there is no disgrace taking 2 sets from god Protoss.

come on, he knows he stand 0 chance against MC in a str8 up battle. 6 pool gives him the highest chance to win, probably over 50%

If u see in the first game, Idra was leading most of the time even though on more bases and much faster unit regrouping and strong macro.

But MC still stomp him like they were even or much further ahead. That's probably why he go for 6 pool especially Xel naga a 1 v 1 map which obviously not much Idra could do.

i dun think u realize idra changed a lot...
his recent games are a beauty to watch especially due to his insanely good mechanics...
he did bling drop, the +1speedling build, hydra drop etc...
and look at his game 1 gosu overlord creep spread to reinforce his first attack...
honestly game1 idra had it if he hadnt gotten too greedy with his BL out of space...

as for 6pool...
actionjesus = 6pooled to 3.4k master...
it have almsot 80% win rate in ZvP from TL survey though good toss like MC would be able to handle it accordingly...

yeah he actually changed a lot. i mean, he actually got a fighter pose instead of just standing there. i was fairly surprised.

seriously though, idra is known for his macro, and he still is more comfortable on playing macro. yes, i think anyone would've known that idra felt hopeless against MC, especially how it ended in game 1. point being people perceived him being "serious" for his 6 pool when looking from the bigger picture, idra in a way pretty much gave up hope. hell, you said it yourself that most high level plays no longer involve allins/rush/cheese. all involved long macros. and no doubt players the caliber of MC should be able to handle cheese/rush/allins etc without too much issue. he scouted the pool before the lings are at his doorstep after all giving him time to plan out/prepare on what to do.

he was like 55 drones vs 22 probes b4 stargate harras starts. if MC could have canceled the 3rd, then he probably is ahead....but props to idra to be so ball, see protoss 1 basing without any scouting info regarding tech path YET decides to stay on 3 base tier 1 WITHOUT evo chamber.....i rmb he still can cancel his 3rd and go for a lair immediately when he saw protoss is 1 basing.

its like.......wtf

Added on April 15, 2011, 7:11 amit could have been fast collo, pheonix, DT rush, blink stalker opening....

but i love idra's burrow timing. perfect.....so nice to watch.

cause no matter what he is sitll way way ahead...
its cross spot...
idra is safe and from the results, his decision is correct...
there's no need to rush to lair to handle phoenixes...
he got his hydras in time to handle the VRs...
