Anyone got any luck applying this?

I try applying 3x over the pass month but nothing happen.

Call the call centre everytime and they say they did not receive my application.
This is getting very frustrating

Applied for the card a month ago..then called up today to check the status and found out that my card had been cancelled..how come they dint inform me anything..

Got the credit card but my credit limit is rm3000. How ridiculous is that. Of course I cancel it right away.

HSBC has one of the shittiest service ever. Applied for card A but approved and sent me card B and charge me GST even i call to tell them is a wrong card and I'm not activating it.
The customer service "sounds" professional but couldnt help me at all. Only ask me refer back to the agent whom I applied with.
No wonder some people call them The Worst (World's) Local Bank.

Huh? HSBC is the only bank that won't charge gst b4 u activate the card. How come they charge u?

I dont know. Fact is i received my statement already with 50 s3rvice tax even i did not activate the card.

amex will have higher conversion rate
while the visa/master wont have any cash back

as for hsbc, the transaction fee will be 1% as on their web but they will give 1% cash back
thus it would be better to use it. even ocbc have 1.25% for their transaction fee and only give 1% cash back

unless u cna find a card with 2% cash back for overseas. then it would be worth it

Call CS today. Apparently promo extended...I think till 7 Oct?

Now very Kan chiong...don't know will get the watch or not...

My comment: as long as u swipe rm1500 immediately after u get ur card, u will get the watch unless HSBC didn't really prepare 2500 watch to their customers. 1 month time for 2500 card approved is impossible for a bank.
