Hello guys it appears that the Annual Fee Waiver (Subject to min 12 swipes per year) <-- just wondering does this includes autobill? If i apply autobill and pay once every month is it counted as a swipe?

^ you will not be charged GST anymore. Preferably cancel not later than 1-2 months before the anniversary.

Of course you can cancel it now. What i mean is, to avoid paying GST, cancel it at least 1-2 months before hand

Please do make an official complaint to HSBC and ask them to refer the case to their management.
The person claiming from Takaful is sore you said NO. Even if it is true HSBC furnished 3rd party with your information, they are not supposed to behave or arm twist you. Such behavior is clearly out of conduct and in violation of their own T&C.

Make sure you report the case and do not let it go unnoticed as what my counterpart MilesAndMore have mentioned.

Today first time I used my HSBC Visa Signature since I got it. Was at Mid Valley to buy a watch, charge RM1K to HSBC since the 5X is capped at RM1000/month and the rest to AMEX MBB Dua smile.gif

This is something new. We can split the bill to more than 1 card? Just inform the cashier?

yah, you can split the bill if the merchant agree. Did that too when I bought a Rolex last year at Pavilion, split the bill RM3K to get hamper from CIMB and Mastercard gift and the balance with my AMEX Charge card to get 3X (with Turbo or 1.5% cash back) as that time no MBB 2. Usually merchant will say prefer Visa or MC, I will then say half half but usually more than half will go to AMEX, haha. But never try asking at Departmental store.

hi all sifus

just went to HSBC roadshow yesterday at MV.

they told me i can apply for HSBC Amanah Platinum Card. When i ask about the charges, they told me is 12 swipe/year to waive the annual fees. they will also give me rm50 rebate as a "waiver" for 1st year GST. Is there any other charges that i need to pay for using this card? when i check the website i found there is monthly management charges.

anyone know what is this monthly management charges? it is quite expensive (rm2.7k monthly)

thanks biggrin.gif

I dont understand on the monthly management charge. It does not make sense for HSBC to charge RM2.7k monthly to us for nothing right?

I checked the details on their website and could it be due to outstanding balance? Anyone knows about the monthly management charge is all about?
