Signature has a matte finish rather than the usual glossy shine. It's quite nice.

I recommend that you read my article titled Top 10 CC in Malaysia by clicking here.

The other day I used my EON Visa Signature and the lady was impressed as she has never seen a "white card". It has been a long time since people commented on my credit cards.

HSBC is so damn stingy with their credit limit. The limit that they gave me is a mere 30% of my citibank's card limit

Today, received an sms from HSBC thanking me for using thier CC and stating my annual fee waived for this coming June. Nice of them to send me the sms. Now got to go swipe 12 times again. Last year swipe mostly at Baskin Robins as HSBC card gets 10% discount but this year the offer no more instead Citibank cardmembers get this benefit.

Thank you.
If you read the V15 of General CC Thread. it was mentioned that SCB have changed the cash back amount and many going to cancel it. Other than the unlimited access to KLIA Plaza Premium Lounge (which HSBC don't have), I can't think of other benefits of having a Platinum SCB card for my case since I don't patronize the restaurants that give discount to SCB cardholders.

2011 Megasale Cashback is here. Rules are different and more misrepresentations this time. Can get 50% cashback if you shop certain items, at certain time and certain week and, importantly, only if you win the 'draw'. Minumum spend per week is RM500. 50% of RM500 is RM250, but there is a clause that says you can only get back maximum RM100 per week. Go figure! HSBC, I'm so impressed by your CC marketing team! They are so clever.

Thank for highlighting that one is not really getting 50% even if he wins the "draw". Those guys at HSBC really need to go back to lower secondary school and attend basic Math lessons.

This is almost borderline fraud. Excellent job HSBC, maybe they should add some more qualifier like, the person should be between the age of 18-49 driving a RED car to be able to get that RM100 bucks cash back. I'd like to be on their marketing team so that I can also put some extra qualifiers. Sounds like a fun job.

just read the promo, actually it is not a fraud just as usual the tnc is very complicated, u need to spend minimum rm500 per week to be eligible for the cashback but the cashback amount is calculated only on petrol, grocery and shopping from all the spending, let say u spend a total of rm500 a week consist of rm300 on travel but the other rm200 on petrol u are eligible for cashback but u just stand to receive cashback from the petrol transaction only, i lol at the tnc, so who want to participate must have much time to spend on certain period to get max cashback, lousy promo, mcm main main saja mau bagi cashback

A bit annoying that the Signature CC seems to have better benefits than the Premier CC

Not anyone can qualify the VS, Premier just deposit RM200K, any Tom Dcik or Harry also can. haha. Then again many VS holder also cannot qualify for the Premier, so which is more exclusive?

Not many Tom, d*** or Harry have RM200k to deposit for Premier account. HSBC VS only requires annual income of 100k, which is easier to qualify than having 200k cash! The HSBC Premier card is a World MasterCard so I guess it is more exclusive than a Visa Signature???
