Guys,

I have a local branded CRT TV, Pioneer HTZ-181DVD home theater system, and Astro decoder.

How do I make use of the LINE feature on my HTS and output sound to my TV & Astro watching? I deeply appreciate your help.

your pioneer HT has analog input, so just connect astro red/white audio out to your pioneer audio in, your pioneer will be doing the sound reproduction, tone-down your TV audio volume

for video connection, hookup astro's yellow RCA video out to your TV's yellow video in

for your DVD, connect pioneer HT yellow video out to your tv's video in 2

if your tv only has single video in, then manually plug and unplug video cable

next time your upgrade your TV to HDTV, you can then use HDMI for your DVD connection instead, HDMI will produce much nicer output quality to your HDTV
