Use Titanium Backup to backup all your apps if you want to restore them later.
Nandroid backup (backup through Clockwork Mod Recovery) is a full back up of your current ROM image file.
It saves all the data including your apps, call logs, sms and even settings.
But you can't restore them individually, you can only restore them in a complete way.
So, use Titanium Backup for your apps smile.gif

wow can last so long, as what i heard, mostly hardly barely last only til 12-24 hours moderate usage, including myself too
*
Actually also depends on how you use.
If you aware can last longer.
If you install a lot of apps which running background will eat up a lot of battery...
Disable bluetooth, GPS when you don't use.
Uninstall the Apps you didn't use.
Or use some tools to stop the apps to run itself.

bought it on 13 May. Mostly on facebook and gmail, gtalk, Youtube, gaming and some browsing. Tried to kill those apps using taskpanel and stock Manage Applications, they're still coming back.  doh.gif Charging the phone like 2 times daily, heavy gaming may up to 4 times.

The only thing can do is root it first.

I found the case for Lg Optimus 2x..and screen protector too. Who wan to buy together?
*
I bought the case already and the screen protector was given when I buy the phone but I am still using the default screen protector.
FYI.Actually, I don't think so a screen protector is needed due to the screen used by LG O2X is Gorilla Glass...

Can I still receive MMS if I change to 2G networks only?

Instead of turning of Data, which IMHO defeat the purpose of using a smartphone. Switch to 2G only, WhatsApp, Gmail, GTalk work without any problem and it save battery.
*
Switch to 2G only means is using GRPS?
So how is the data charge?
