QUOTE(Heav3nCl0ud @ May 9 2011, 11:14 PM) One advice: task killer is NOT recommended. autokiller is not the typical task killer like advance task killer Here's the Reason So you just let it run, when it became inactive it will automatically been terminate by the structure itself No need to worry too much, although it's just 378MB of user available RAM. It's more than enough to multitasking and play HD games. I don't know how much the dialer apk took my memory because it's not running now... LMAO well after using custom rom, i am not using it anymore QUOTE What Autokiller does is let you tweak the values of the internal Android Task killer. As default you are able to modify just these values: Empty app, Content provider, Hidden app. This is for “safety” reasons so that the internal auto killer doesn’t kill important services. You have a wide range of presets to choose from if you’re not sure what to change. You even have a “LOST” preset, fans of the tv show will know what this is about. Hmm so anyone else can verify how much the dialer consuming your memory? |

QUOTE(bmfairuz @ May 17 2011, 08:30 PM) I'm using MCR FR15 (Modaco ROM) atm, gonna flash the FR16, hopefully... It is based on the Froyo but already has the Gingerbread launcher including the Gingerbread keyboard and lots of other cool stuvs. then it is not what i am looking for Ummm, correction. The papago X5 maps need to be installed in the internal SD and not the external SD. yes, Cyanogen is also a custom ROM. Being a custom ROM, the dev will remove and add the apps and well as settings according to how they want the ROM to work. So less + smaller apps/settings = smaller ROM. Basically the V10d (stock ROM) contains lots of stuvs and lots of bloatware thus giving you 600MB. The customs ROMs mostly have only the essential apps and settings thus giving great performance for your phone. ^^ For now Modaco (MCR) and Cyanogen (CM7) and the mostly used custom ROMs for the O2X. |

I faced reboot problem for less than 5 times in the past 2 months (more or less), but few days ago I tride to connect my phone to the wifi and left it there, only I noticed my phone will reboot after connected to wifi for some times
Using blazingdragon 1.8, dont think it is the rom problem Gotta wait for 1.8a and see if it fix it... |

QUOTE(volcane @ Jun 5 2011, 12:25 PM) how is blazingdragon compare MCR17? I felt it is lighter, as the rom maker made it according to the users request. Worth trying. on further investigation, reboot partial cause by PhoneWeaver. I said partial because no problem on previous phone. On auto shutdown I had stop charge overnight / over charge the phone, no auto shutdown for past two days. On hardware side the phone is superb, like the IPS screen and the design. Added on June 5, 2011, 12:33 pmCM7 #35 released, anyone tried it already? |
